About rc_visard NG

rc_visard NG is Roboception's edge-computing stereo-vision platform for robot perception. A factory-calibrated monochrome stereo pair with a 160-millimetre baseline feeds an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano with eight gigabytes of memory, allowing Roboception software and user-supplied Docker containers to run directly on the sensor.

The cameras capture 1,440 by 1,080 pixels across a 43-by-33-degree field of view, with specified depth measurement from 0.5 to three metres. Resolution and frame rate vary by range and processing mode, reaching 25 hertz at lower depth-image resolutions. GenICam, REST and gRPC interfaces connect results to host systems. The passive-cooled IP54 housing measures 230 by 75 by 85 millimetres and weighs 979 grams.
