About Z5 RoboVan

Z5 is Zelostech’s autonomous logistics van for transporting goods without an onboard driver. The standard body provides 6.2 m³ of cargo space with a rated maximum load of 1,800 kg and a 40.8 kWh battery. Its stated maximum range is 230 km; range and load limits describe separate ratings. Cold-chain and multi-locker versions use different cargo configurations.

Timeline

Dynamic Map-led team selected for Automated Logistics Road trial
2026-09-30 - Award - The team includes Kajima, Mitsubishi Electric and Seino Transportation. Trials are planned from November to mid-December 2026 using two ZELOSTECH Z5 autonomous cargo vehicles and one Z10. The planned tests use a 10 km/h baseline and selected straight-road runs at 30 km/h, with optical-fibre sensing for infrastructure-assisted driving.
