About Heavy Picker
Heavy Picker is ZenRobotics' robotic sorting system for bulky construction, commercial, wood, inert, scrap-metal and rigid-plastic waste. Vision and ZenBrain software classify mixed material on a conveyor, while a heavy-duty arm and mechanical gripper recover chosen fractions.
Each arm handles objects up to 40 kilograms and 1.5 metres long at up to 2,300 picks per hour, with as many arms as a facility requires. Sorting priorities can favour valuable material or purity targets as waste composition changes. ZenRobotics offers the system as a standalone station, a retrofit to an operating plant or part of a greenfield automated line.
