ZY-E4

About

About ZY-E4

ZY-E4 raises a high-output light source above emergency scenes using a multirotor connected to a powered ground tether. The cable supplies continuous electricity while the ground enclosure manages deployment and retrieval, allowing the aircraft to hold an elevated lighting position through extended night operations. Zhuoyi also describes swappable loudspeaker and electro-optical payloads, although those configurations serve different missions from illumination.

Manufacturer figures state at least 24 hours of tethered operation, 50 metres of cable and 108,000 lumens from the lighting assembly. The 3.2-kilogram aircraft has a 650-millimetre diagonal motor span; the complete ground system weighs 28 kilograms and is designed for deployment by one person in about three minutes. Wind, power supply, tether clearance, launch-site control and local flight rules still govern practical use.
