About Dusty Robotics
Dusty Robotics connects coordinated building models to FieldPrinter 2, Dusty Portal, an AutoCAD plug-in and an operator iPad. The robot prints full-scale lines, text, arcs, points, QR codes and images directly on slabs at stated 1/16-inch accuracy. A laser tracker ties the output to surveyed control while obstacle sensing supports movement through active interiors.
The 2026 platform added image printing, expanded multilingual text support and floor-elevation measurement in beta. Elevation mode uses the existing tracker setup to collect point data and four-inch heatmap cells while the machine drives or prints. Those additions broaden FieldPrinter from trade layout into selected verification workflows, while results still depend on accurate control, compatible floor conditions and weather limits.
