About Flytrex
Flytrex aircraft collect orders from participating merchant hubs and fly autonomous routes to approved residential delivery areas. At the destination, the drone remains above the property and lowers the package by tether, avoiding the need for a landing area or direct customer interaction with the aircraft.
The service is connected to merchant and orchestration platforms that manage order eligibility, preparation and customer notifications. Flytrex operates a growing network across Dallas–Fort Worth and reports more than 200,000 US deliveries. Its Texas facility supports aircraft assembly, maintenance and expansion of the local operating fleet.

Idle drones are pre-positioned on restaurant rooftops before orders are placed, landing on a dock and shutting down their motors; staff then clip the packaged order onto a lowered hook and the drone lifts off within seconds. The dock installs on an existing rooftop or similar elevated area beside the restaurant and requires no additional real estate, structural modification or dedicated drone staff. Flytrex puts the effect at 60 percent lower cost per delivery and roughly half the delivery time; both figures are company-reported and no baseline is published.
