Maquoketa Research packages its drone-autonomy work as Synapse, a modular payload for integration into existing uncrewed aircraft. The company offers automatic recognition and guidance capabilities to aircraft manufacturers and programme operators, with a product approach centred on adding an autonomy module to an established vehicle platform.
This separates development of the intelligence payload from the wider aircraft design. Manufacturers retain responsibility for their vehicle and flight stack while incorporating Maquoketa's module into the overall system.
