About Avy

Avy Aera takes off vertically before transitioning into fixed-wing cruise, supporting speeds around 100 kilometres per hour and missions approaching 100 kilometres on one charge. The aircraft carries up to approximately three kilograms for medical samples, medicines, emergency equipment and monitoring payloads.

Avy Dock shelters and charges the aircraft and can launch a mission within roughly 30 seconds. Remote operators supervise several stations and flights without an onsite pilot at each location, allowing hospitals, emergency services and infrastructure operators to build scheduled or on-demand beyond-visual-line-of-sight networks.

Events

  • 2021-11-30 - Product Launch - Avy launches autonomous Drone Response Network

The network combines docking stations with autonomous Aera aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing. Avy specified up to 3 kg of medical payload over 100 km, with operation in rain and winds up to 45 km/h. The company said the system was ready for rollout, with first flights planned for the first quarter of 2022 for medical delivery and emergency response.
