About SmartDrone
SmartDrone supplies an integrated aerial-survey workflow built around its Discovery LiDAR drones and Pulse processing software. Discovery platforms collect LiDAR and orthophotography in the same mission, while mission-planning guidance varies altitude and flight-line spacing for bare ground, vegetation, dense canopy and urban sites at different target ground resolutions.
Customers can process their own collections or buy field and processing services. Deliverables span de-noised point clouds, terrain grids, contours, TIN and LandXML files, orthomosaics and CAD linework for surveying, construction, land development and engineering. Discovery 2 is designed, engineered and manufactured in Tyler, Texas; SmartDrone also operates regional field teams for on-demand mapping projects across the United States.
