About Labrador Systems
Labrador Systems develops mobile assistive robots that carry household items for people affected by pain, injury or limited mobility. Retriever uses 3D and stereo vision to navigate rooms, doorways and changing light, docks itself for charging and adjusts its height to place meals, laundry, medication and personal items within reach.
The platform carries loads up to 25 pounds and can collect and deliver prepared trays holding up to ten pounds. Users and caregivers command it by phone or voice, while the Retriever Pro adds fleet and care-organisation features for homes and group settings. Labrador has conducted in-home and care-provider pilots; broader availability has followed a staged qualification and production programme.
