About
About Staer
Staer creates shared three-dimensional facility models for robots from cameras and other existing sensors. Its spatial-intelligence platform turns the environment into semantic maps that robots and operators can use for planning and fleet coordination.
The platform tracks assets, maps warehouse structure and exposes process visibility across a site. Integrations with NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Omniverse connect the reconstructed facility model to robot simulation and deployment workflows, helping teams plan automation around the actual geometry and contents of a warehouse.

Research
- Staer releases synthetic warehouse dataset for physical-AI research
2026-03-12 - Research Publication - The initial release covered 15 warehouse environments, 1,500 sequences and roughly 200,000 object instances. Each frame aligned RGB, depth, semantic-segmentation and instance-segmentation data generated in NVIDIA Isaac Sim. The rolling Hugging Face dataset has since advanced to v0.2 with stereo walkthroughs, IMU data and scene-graph annotations.

Pale Blue Dot and LDV Capital invested in the Malmö company. The financing had been completed during the prior autumn and was publicly disclosed in February 2026. Staer builds shared facility models and operating context for mobile robots.
Source - 2025-12-18 - Partnership - Staer sponsors Nav2 and develops semantic mapping integration
Staer joined the Nav2 sponsor programme and began work with Open Navigation on long-term development and maintenance of the open-source navigation framework for mobile robots. Its proposed integration adds dense 3D semantic maps, including spatial occupancy and semantic scene layers, to standard Nav2 planning and control workflows. The roadmap covers visual navigation and fleet-created semantic maps for autonomous mobile robots operating in homes, warehouses, agricultural fields and other environments.
