VIPA ControlsAmerica supplies programmable controllers, remote input/output, operator panels and automation software to North American machine builders and integrators. The product range connects sensors, drives, robots and plant networks through Ethernet and industrial fieldbus interfaces.
Compact and modular PLC families execute machine logic, while distributed I/O places signal acquisition near equipment and HMIs expose status and controls to operators. Engineering tools support programming, diagnostics and commissioning. As part of Yaskawa, VIPA technology can be integrated with servo drives and industrial robot cells in packaging, assembly, handling and process equipment.

Automation Inside readers selected SLIO CPU as the Best Control System of 2015. SLIO combined SPEED7 processing with configurable memory and multiple fieldbus options. VIPA also placed third among twenty-four nominees for Best Automation Company.
