Renishaw develops precision measurement and process-control technology for manufacturing, healthcare and scientific instrumentation. Its robotics-specific RCS range helps integrators commission, calibrate and maintain six-axis industrial robots by measuring tool frames, part frames, joint behaviour, path performance and repeatability.

RCS L-90 is a portable linear ballbar for setup and health checks, while T-90 adds tri-ballbar diagnostics and on-site robot mastering. Permanently mounted P-series probes locate cell components in six degrees of freedom and can run automated recovery routines after collisions. RCS Software Suite guides tests, stores performance histories and supports ABB, FANUC, KUKA and Yaskawa systems, enabling maintenance teams to identify drift before it becomes unplanned downtime.
