About
About Tacta Systems
Tacta Systems combines a human-scale robotic hand, fingertip sensing, a worker-worn capture glove and learned control software in one manufacturing system. Tacta Hand has 15 independently actuated joints and uses Fluidic Tendon actuation, while embedded sensors measure force, contact, slip, texture and temperature during manipulation.
Workers perform an existing process while wearing Tacta Glove, generating motion and contact data for Tacta Dexterous AI. The resulting policy runs on TactaBot and continues to use tactile feedback during insertion, fastening, threading and delicate component handling. Tacta unveiled the system in July 2026 and says initial customer deployments across electronics, AI infrastructure and automotive manufacturing are scheduled for early 2027. Until shipment evidence appears, the platform remains pre-deployment.
