About
About Tuurny
Tuurny is a San Francisco physical-AI company applying robotic disassembly to electronics recycling. Nantul identifies components on variable circuit boards, controls thermal processing and removes selected parts without requiring fixed tooling for every board layout. The extraction target can be changed through software rather than rebuilding the cell.
RAM integrated circuits are the first commercial workflow, with Tuurny reporting extraction of up to 300 intact chips per cell per hour, a first six-figure contract and a separate six-figure deal with UK recycler Areera. The wider thesis is component recovery rather than bulk material sorting, allowing processors to redirect the same cell toward copper coils, RF shielding or specialised processors as supply conditions change.

Timeline
Events
- 2026-08-10 - Partnership - Tuurny and aRobotics form U.S. chip-harvesting manufacturing venture
aRobotics will manufacture Tuurny’s systems, combining its defense-sector production experience with Tuurny’s computer-vision and edge-AI extraction technology. The proposed systems target component recovery, legacy-defense sustainment and audited demilitarisation workflows. Availability later in 2026 is forward-looking; the announcement does not establish completed production or customer deployment.

Nantul combines computer vision, thermal processing and precision robotics to identify and remove up to 300 intact RAM integrated circuits per cell per hour. Tuurny said it had secured its first six-figure commercial contract and a separate six-figure deal with UK electronics recycler Areera. The company describes the cell as software-defined and component-agnostic, allowing extraction targets to change without dedicated fixed tooling.
