Flyability and RINA announce a partnership to design training and certification programs for inspection drone pilots
Flyability and RINA will collaborate to create tailored training programs for drone pilots using UAVs in confined space inspections in several industries.

Evidence notes
- Flyability’s latest drone, the Elios 3, was launched in 2023 with 2 payloads: a radiation detection payload and a surveying LiDAR payload.
- Thanks to the training, drone pilots can help streamline inspections by providing high quality data of difficult – to – access environments.
- The training courses will be designed to optimize data collection for inspections.
Company context
Flyability develops collision-tolerant indoor inspection drones for confined, hazardous and hard-to-reach spaces. Its Elios platform is used for remote visual inspection and LiDAR mapping in industrial assets.
