About
About SPARC AI
SPARC AI's current Overwatch offering is delivered through a network API. A drone or ground controller sends telemetry and a timestamp over an available communications link; the service applies terrain information and sensor-fusion processing, then returns a coordinate and time. The receiving navigation or mission system consumes that position output through its existing workflow.
Processing takes place on offboard infrastructure, with the company offering regional service nodes and an option to run the stack within a customer's network boundary. This architecture makes communications availability part of the integration, even where satellite positioning is unavailable. Customers can request evaluation access to assess the service on their own platforms and operating conditions.

- 2026-09-23 - Product Launch - SPARC AI launches Overwatch Intelligence for GPS-denied ISR
Operators can select a point in an image to obtain target coordinates. The module was introduced at private events for more than a dozen drone manufacturers and operators during the company’s Ukraine tour. It extends the Overwatch positioning network from aircraft self-location to image-based target location.
Source - 2026-09-23 - Demonstration - SPARC AI validates Overwatch in GPS-jammed Ukraine flights
The system was integrated into a large quadcopter and returned aircraft position and target coordinates without satellite navigation. In one demonstration, it located a pole more than 600 m away without GPS, a laser rangefinder or added aircraft hardware. The company says it is discussing existing and new opportunities with several drone OEMs, including potential ground-vehicle and fixed-wing use.
Source - 2026-06-22 - Regulatory - SPARC AI gains AUKUS authorized-user status for defense technology exports
The company says the designation supports Overwatch integration with approved U.S.-built drone platforms and partners. The status remains subject to eligibility, pre-notification and record-keeping obligations under Australia's Defence Export Controls regime. The approval supports The company's path toward fielded use in unmanned aircraft, air mobility or counter-drone operations.
Source - 2026-05-20 - Partnership - SPARC AI and Rate Manufacturing begin Model-F integration work
Initial work covers integration, joint demonstrations and pilot programmes for U.S. and allied defence customers. Production and broader deployment remain prospective and depend on the early integration and pilot work.
