About Surtr Defense Systems
ParallaxOS brings radar, radio-frequency, camera and acoustic detections into a shared view for counter-drone operators. Its integration layer connects devices through standard protocols or adapters for proprietary APIs, while sensor-fusion and classification functions help operators interpret incoming tracks. People retain authority over responses.
Surtr supplies the software independently of sensor and effector hardware. Customers can use individual fusion, command-interface or integration modules within an existing system. The platform can run on local edge computers without a cloud connection, and its simulation environment supports training and replay of field sensor data. Prototype evaluations in Ukraine combined optical and acoustic sensing to track FPV drones.

The round was backed by Allegis Capital, Eniac Ventures, Gaingels, Robinhood Ventures, Streamlined Ventures and angel investors. Surtr plans to use the capital for hiring, Pentagon program work, ITAR licensing and additional hardware integrations. The company tested acoustic and visual FPV-drone tracking with military operators in Ukraine and reported latency under 100 milliseconds.
