About
About Voyant Photonics
Voyant Photonics develops chip-scale frequency-modulated continuous-wave lidar for robots, vehicles and industrial automation. Its silicon-photonics architecture integrates coherent optical components and solid-state beam steering to measure distance, reflectivity and radial velocity.
Direct velocity helps perception distinguish stationary and moving objects, while integration on semiconductor wafers targets smaller, lower-cost sensors than mechanically scanned systems. Voyant supplies developer units and works with equipment makers on field of view, range and package integration. Applications include mobile robotics, factory sensing, mapping and driver assistance.
