About Impact Build

Impact Printing uses high-velocity deposition to compact semi-solid mineral material into dense building components. Material blends can incorporate 75 to 80 percent secondary construction-site material and reach compressive strengths up to 5 MPa, depending on formulation. Wire cutting and milling create edges, openings and surface finishes for integration with prefabricated or timber construction systems.

CAD-compatible software converts designs into robotic instructions, production data and cost estimates, while machine vision monitors changing material conditions for adaptive control and quality checks. Impact Build offers modular high-payload production systems for permanent factory integration or temporary project deployments, alongside material qualification, system integration and production support. Its prototype facility remains available for product development and small pilots.

  • 2025-11-13 - Award - Impact Build selected for ZKB startup incubation

The programme provides rent-free workspace in Dübendorf, coaching, networking and access to specialist events. The jury selected six winners from ten finalists at the November pitch event. Impact Build develops robotic printing methods that turn excavated material into building components, supported by mobile factories and design-to-production software.
