AirPixel's electronics connect a camera, flight controller and gimbal so aerial imagery carries the position and orientation data needed for mapping and inspection. TAG-E controls the Sony ILX-LR1 through a USB-C connection and writes GPS or RTK position, camera attitude and optional rangefinder readings into image metadata. It also produces video subtitle files containing flight data.
ENTIRE R3 supports a broader range of camera interfaces and telemetry workflows, while MavPorter provides access to autopilot parameters. Installation guides cover ArduPilot, PX4 and Gremsy gimbals, with camera-specific wiring and control requirements. The modules are sold through AirPixel's own store and supported by firmware updates and integration documentation.

- 2026-04-22 - Capability - AirPixel expands ENTIRE R3 camera and gimbal control in firmware 1.998
New MAVLink commands cover trigger distance, trigger interval and trigger control for connected camera setups. PX4 users gain dynamic stopping of unwanted MAVLink streams, reducing unnecessary incoming data processing. The release also corrects shutter-speed control, zoom control and camera triggering in supported setups without Wi-Fi.
