About ZenaDrone
ZenaDrone 1000 is the company’s large octocopter for surveillance, mapping, inspection and payload carriage, using programmable routes, multispectral sensing, a 4K camera and a universal attachment interface. Qualification under the Defence Drone Initiative Marketplace does not constitute the award of a procurement contract, but positions ZenaTech to apply and compete for applicable future requirements issued through the marketplace. ZenaDrone's defence portfolio is anchored by the ZenaDrone 1000, a multifunction platform for surveillance, reconnaissance, logistics and cargo missions that is at the testing stage, with counter-UAS maritime interceptor drones and a launch and refuelling station in development. The platforms are being developed in parallel with ZenaTech's manufacturing facility expansion across Arizona, Dubai and Taiwan.

The battery-powered octocopter is designed to carry up to 25 kilograms of liquid or seed and fly for approximately 20 to 25 minutes per charge. Its agricultural configurations use either a liquid tank with spray nozzles or a seed hopper with a spreader along programmed low-altitude flight paths. Field testing at ZenaTech's Arizona facility was expected to begin in the following weeks; solar maintenance, swarm operation and automated refilling remain planned Version 2 features.

The test program includes controlled aquatic environments and open water while evaluating stability, maneuverability, sensors and autonomous navigation. ZenaDrone is also preparing a Version 2 build in the UAE with a different propulsion system intended to improve speed and operational range.
