Apex planetary gearboxes reduce a servo motor’s speed while multiplying torque through several planet gears arranged around a central sun gear. The load is distributed across the gear set, creating a compact transmission suited to robot axes, machine tools and positioning equipment that require high stiffness and repeatable motion.

The company produces inline, right-angle and specialised gearbox families with low-backlash options reaching one arc-minute or below in selected configurations. Servo-motor adapters, rack-and-pinion systems and application sizing support allow machine builders to match ratio, torque, inertia and mounting geometry to each axis.
