Akribis builds iron-core and ironless linear motors, torque motors, voice-coil actuators, encoders, drives and multi-axis stages. Direct-drive architectures remove mechanical transmission elements, supporting fast response, low backlash and precise positioning in automated equipment.
The Singapore-headquartered company operates engineering, manufacturing and sales sites across Asia, Europe and North America. It supplies both standard components and customized motion assemblies for machine builders.

- 2025-11-06 - Product Launch - Akribis Systems introduces APC Z-axis actuator
The actuator uses an ALM-T coreless linear motor and reaches acceleration of 2 g on the vertical axis. Its Z axis provides 30 millimetres of travel and can be configured in a dual-axis arrangement. An optical encoder provides position feedback, while the standard mechanical interface supports vacuum grippers.

The ARJ series covered five standard sizes of collaborative robot joint modules. The modules integrate direct-drive frameless motors, reducers, encoders and EtherCAT drive electronics. The ARJ series targets shorter development cycles for collaborative robot manufacturers.
