Akribis Systems designs precision motion components and complete positioning assemblies for automation equipment. Its range includes iron-core and ironless linear motors, frameless torque motors, direct-drive rotary motors, voice-coil actuators, encoders, servo drives and motion controllers. These components are combined into linear modules, rotary tables, stacked stages, gantries and multi-axis systems for semiconductor, electronics, laser, optical and medical production.
For robotics, Akribis supplies motors, feedback devices and integrated joint hardware that machine builders can package into arms and mobile manipulators. Direct-drive technology removes belts or screws where high responsiveness and low mechanical play are required, while geared configurations increase joint torque within a compact envelope.
