About Autobrains
Autobrains was created in 2019 as an autonomous-driving venture emerging from Cortica’s self-learning visual-AI work. Founder Igal Raichelgauz leads a Tel Aviv-based company that reports more than $140 million raised, over 300 patents and additional operations in Munich, France and Asia.
Its commercial stack is deliberately broader than a single robotaxi policy. Smart Camera targets regulation and NCAP functions on roughly 1–2 TOPS of compute; Thinking AI organises driving intelligence into scenario-specific agents for L2++ through L4; and Air2Road matches ground camera views against aerial signatures for centimetre-level localisation. The company says the architecture is sensor- and SoC-agnostic. Named programmes with VinFast and Uber move the technology beyond generic research, although production volumes and unit economics remain customer-dependent.
