About Axelera AI
Axelera AI's Metis processor uses four in-memory-compute cores to run INT8 neural-network inference at the edge, reducing movement between model weights and arithmetic units. A single AIPU provides up to 214 TOPS in M.2, PCIe and compute-board formats, with the Voyager SDK compiling and deploying vision pipelines through YAML configurations.
Four-chip PCIe cards scale to 856 TOPS with 16 or 64 GB of memory and typical consumption of 30 to 58 watts. Secure boot and a hardware root of trust support embedded deployment, while Linux, Windows and x86 or Arm hosts cover robots, cameras, industrial PCs and edge servers. The newer Europa architecture raises single-chip inference to 629 TOPS and extends the same software stack toward larger language and multimodal models.
