About Bedrock Robotics

Bedrock Operator is a retrofit autonomy system for excavators, bulldozers and loaders already owned by contractors. The package adds sensors, onboard compute and machine-control intelligence rather than requiring a purpose-built autonomous vehicle, allowing the same construction fleet to execute earthmoving plans with centimetre-level control.

The software interprets project goals, site terrain and changing conditions to plan and execute machine movements. Bedrock was operating equipment at its own test sites and with four construction partners across California, Arizona, Texas and Arkansas when it introduced the system, placing the platform in field testing with working contractors.
