About Bulwark Dynamics

Bulwark Dynamics is developing CARAVEL, an autonomous landing craft for moving military cargo directly between ships and unimproved shorelines. The vessel is designed around a 23,000-pound payload, 1,100-nautical-mile range and hybrid propulsion, with native handling for JMIC and ISO containers. It beaches, unloads and withdraws without a shore crew or port infrastructure.

Sensor fusion, obstacle avoidance and autonomous navigation are intended to sustain operations in shallow water, rough seas and GPS-denied or electronically contested conditions. Bulwark is building autonomy, command and control, hull production, payload integration and field support as one maritime-logistics stack. The company opened a Menlo Park prototype facility in January 2026 and is pursuing shipbuilding partnerships, placing CARAVEL in active development rather than established fleet deployment.
