About Clone Robotics
Clone builds its robots around synthetic muscular, skeletal, nervous and vascular systems. Myofiber actuators attach to anatomical points on the skeleton and contract rapidly under hydraulic pressure, reproducing the tendon and muscle arrangement used in a human hand or body.
The Clone Hand uses antagonistic, back-drivable muscles and a fully opposable thumb, while Clone Alpha extends the architecture into a complete android with onboard GPU compute and natural-language interaction. The initial Alpha Edition is limited to 279 units and is paired with a teleoperation and data-collection system for training physical skills.

- 2026-10-01 - Demonstration - Clone Robotics demonstrates Torso 3 hand teleoperation and outlines Torso 4 target
The demonstrated hand was built in April 2026 and is the last legacy hand design. Six months of redesign focused on simulation compatibility and controllability. Torso 4 is intended for stationary bimanual enterprise tasks.
Source - 2025-11-23 - Capability - Clone Robotics shows Neural Joint Controller V2 for biomimetic robotic hand control
Clone Robotics showed Neural Joint Controller V2 for its biomimetic robotic hand The demo displayed coordinated finger motion across an artificial-muscle-driven system The update focused on control stability and joint coordination rather than a new product launch.
Source - 2025-11-15 - Demonstration - Clone Robotics Demonstrates Advanced Robotic Hand with Neural Controller
The robotic hand features 27 degrees of freedom, human-level grip strength and speed, and durable artificial muscles. The demonstration showcased the hand's rapid and precise movements, mirroring a human operator's actions via teleoperation. The hand is a key component of Clone Robotics' upcoming humanoid robot, Clone Alpha, with pre-orders slated to open in 2025.
