Cognata develops simulation software for training and validating automated-driving and autonomous-system functions. Its digital environments combine road geometry, traffic, weather, lighting and behavioural scenarios with models of cameras, radar, LiDAR and other sensors. Engineering teams generate ordinary and rare events at scale, then exercise perception, planning and control software through software-, hardware- and vehicle-in-the-loop workflows.
Scenario libraries and synthetic sensor data support development before a physical fleet is available, while repeatable tests allow teams to compare releases and investigate failures.
