About Duality AI
Duality AI’s Falcon platform uses an Unreal Engine-based editor and a library of digital twins to assemble simulation scenarios. Developers can combine representations of systems, objects and spaces, then configure the conditions and sensors needed for an experiment. The same environment supports open-loop runs that generate synthetic data and closed-loop runs in which an autonomous system reacts to the simulated world.
The workflow runs collaboratively in the cloud, allowing teams to create and repeat experiments without each user maintaining a separate simulation machine. Duality also supplies engineering and technical-art support for building the required assets and scenarios. This connects environment construction with the data generation and interactive testing used to develop perception models and autonomous behaviours.

- 2025-05-21 - Partnership - Duality AI partners with Kitware on DARPA ASIMOV autonomy benchmark
Duality joins Kitware’s REBAR approach for DARPA ASIMOV, a program focused on ethical alignment of autonomous systems. Falcon will provide digital twins of environments, systems and agents for operationally relevant scenario generation. The project uses synthetic sensor streams and in-the-loop simulation to evaluate autonomous-system behavior.

NASA JPL will use Falcon to train and test autonomy algorithms for high-speed off-road vehicles. Falcon will provide digital twin environments, configurable virtual sensors and synthetic data for autonomy software validation.
