About Null Labs

Null Labs supplies simulation and testing infrastructure for engineers developing autonomous systems. Its tools generate electro-optical sensor feeds and labelled synthetic imagery for aerial, maritime and ground environments. Teams can configure scene conditions, sensor effects and assets to test perception in situations that are difficult or costly to collect in the field. The software provides a development environment around the customer’s autonomy stack.

Software-in-the-loop testing connects that stack to simulated observations and accepts its control outputs, allowing engineers to check behaviour before using physical equipment. Scenarios can include changing weather, visibility, terrain and multiple agents, with repeatable tests integrated into development pipelines. The company also offers visual scene building and programmatic dataset generation. Founded in 2025 and based in San Francisco, Null Labs participated in Y Combinator’s Fall 2025 batch.
