About Dynamic Map Platform
Dynamic Map Platform is a Tokyo-based provider of high-precision three-dimensional geospatial data for automated driving, advanced driver-assistance systems and infrastructure applications. Established in June 2016, it operates through a group with businesses in Japan, North America, Europe and other regions. Its automotive offering gives vehicle developers detailed road geometry and location information, while related services support simulation, infrastructure management and positioning workflows.
The company also develops infrastructure-cooperative mobility systems that connect information from roadside or facility equipment to autonomous vehicles. This extends its role from providing a map to supporting exchanges between a vehicle and its operating environment, including logistics facilities. Its broader portfolio includes mapping, viewing and guidance services for public and commercial infrastructure. Current autonomous-truck logistics-hub work remains a validation programme, with trials planned from around December 2026.

- 2026-10-16 - Partnership - Dynamic Map Platform joins Daiwa House and Hacobu autonomous-truck hub trial
DPL Hiratsuka and DPL Shin-Yokohama III will host validation of facility guidance, camera-assisted safety and mobility-hub operations. Dynamic Map Platform will provide high-precision 3D maps and a cooperative mobility platform; Hacobu will connect MOVO Berth reservations and develop hub-management software. The project plans to use TIER IV autonomous trucks to assess Level 4-equivalent facility driving and tractor–trailer exchange operations.

The team includes Kajima, Mitsubishi Electric and Seino Transportation. Trials are planned from November to mid-December 2026 using two ZELOSTECH Z5 autonomous cargo vehicles and one Z10. The planned tests use a 10 km/h baseline and selected straight-road runs at 30 km/h, with optical-fibre sensing for infrastructure-assisted driving.
