About VIAMETRIS
VIAMETRIS develops mobile mapping systems that capture georeferenced three-dimensional environments while an operator walks, drives or rides through a site. Its MS-96 scanner combines lidar, a 96-megapixel panoramic camera, GNSS and inertial sensing in a modular unit that can be mounted as a backpack, front pack or vehicle payload.
The platform records up to 1.28 million points per second over a 120-metre range and uses SLAM when satellite positioning is weak or unavailable. PPIMMS software processes trajectories, corrects loops, applies post-processed GNSS and colourises point clouds. Surveyors use the workflow for buildings, roads, utilities, industrial sites and other assets requiring rapid field capture and engineering-ready spatial data.
