About Epirus
Epirus develops software-defined, solid-state high-power microwave systems for counter-electronics and counter-UAS missions. Leonidas produces long-pulse electromagnetic effects intended to disable drones and other electronic systems without firing a finite supply of kinetic interceptors. Fixed and semi-fixed configurations can operate alongside radar, optical sensors and other weapons in layered short-range air defence.
The family also extends to vehicle-mounted and expeditionary forms, while Epirus Pod packages the technology for smaller platforms and specialised missions. Power management, gallium-nitride electronics and software-controlled waveforms let the company tune system performance and update effects through software. Leonidas-derived prototypes have been delivered to the U.S. Army, and later demonstrations have addressed large swarms and fibre-optic-controlled aircraft.
