ApolloShield develops radio-frequency counter-drone equipment spanning omnidirectional and directional sensors, fixed and vehicle-mounted jammers, handheld mitigation units and command software. Its sensors identify drone and controller transmissions through radio-frequency signatures and can estimate direction or triangulate a detected system across multiple nodes.
The Command Center combines detections, classifications and response controls across a protected site. Operators can use warning and tracking functions alone or connect the system to directional and omnidirectional blocking equipment, depending on local authority and operating rules. Configurations range from portable protection to persistent airport, prison, military and critical-infrastructure installations.

- 2016-08-17 - Product Launch - ApolloShield launches drone countermeasure system
ApolloShield launched an anti-drone system that detects unauthorized drones and commands them to return home. The system used ground units with radios and antennas plus a cloud command center. ApolloShield was backed by Y Combinator and had raised about $500,000 at the time.
