About Perseus Defense
Perseus Defense is developing Harpe, a compact autonomous interceptor for Group 1 and Group 2 drones. The aircraft is designed for deployment from a portable launcher, uses an integrated tracking and engagement stack and targets a unit cost below conventional missile-based counter-UAS effectors.
Launchers weighing under 80 pounds can be set up rapidly and distributed across a defended area, with multiple nodes connected as a coordinated mesh. The interceptor has a stated engagement radius of approximately two kilometres. Perseus is developing the system for defence and homeland-security users that require a larger magazine depth than high-cost interceptors can economically provide.
