About F4 Defense International
F4 Defense International performs defence engineering around unmanned systems and counter-UAS missions. Its current US Army Research Laboratory programme with Draganfly is developing a modular architecture that combines tethered aerial surveillance, AI-assisted drone identification and coordinated ground- and air-based defeat systems. The layers are designed to detect, classify, track, target and engage small unmanned aircraft within one operating picture.
The company’s role covers applied research, system design, integration, testing and programme execution. Sensors, command software and effectors can be selected around the protected site and threat, allowing the architecture to be rapidly deployed or expanded. F4DI works from western Maryland with US defence customers and partners, placing it between component suppliers and the military user as the engineering organisation that assembles and validates the complete capability.
