Axon links field devices, cloud software and real-time operations into a common public-safety platform. Its core business includes body cameras, digital evidence, communications and less-lethal systems, while Axon Air and Drone as First Responder workflows extend the platform into aerial response and remote situational awareness.
The 2024 acquisition of Dedrone added radio-frequency, radar and optical detection, sensor fusion and command software for protecting events, critical infrastructure and public spaces from unauthorised drones. Dedrone remains the specialist counter-UAS business inside Axon rather than a separate ownership group, and its results now contribute to Axon's Platform Solutions segment.
