    BXI integrates a brushless motor, planetary gearhead, absolute encoder and optional brake in a compact joint-drive package. The drive uses a 42-millimetre outer diameter and is designed to deliver high torque where installation space and weight are constrained. FAULHABER positions BXI for collaborative, industrial, medical and humanoid robot joints as well as related automation axes.

  • 2025-12-11 - Product Launch - FAULHABER launches IERF3 L optical incremental encoder

    The encoder provides typical positioning accuracy of 0.1 degrees and repeatability of 0.007 degrees using an optical measuring principle. FAULHABER offers the IERF3 L in 22, 32 and 42 millimetre diameters matched to its BXT flat brushless DC motors. A standard line driver supports complementary signals and reliable transmission, while the optical design resists magnetic interference.

  • 2025-08-19 - Product Launch - FAULHABER adds matched 16 mm motors, gearhead and encoder

    The launch added the brushed 1627 GXR motor and a 1627 size to the precious-metal-commutated SXR family. The new 16GPT planetary gearhead is diameter-matched to the motors and supports high speeds and force transfer in limited installation space. IEX3 and IEX3 L magnetic encoders add typical 0.3-degree positional accuracy, 3.3-to-5-volt operation and a -40-to-100-degree-Celsius range.
