Portescap develops miniature brushless DC, brushed DC, stepper motors and linear actuators. Portescap applies high-power-density motor designs to compact mechanisms that need speed, efficiency and precise control. The Regal Rexnord brand supports robotics, surgical and medical devices, aerospace and industrial automation with product selectors, drawings, specifications and application engineering.
Its current documentation covers product selection, system integration and support for robotics and medical oems, with applications and configuration limits tied to the relevant hardware or software family.

The controller is compatible with Portescap BLDC motors and includes software, autotuning and command-set support. Portescap highlighted robotics uses including bionics, exoskeletons, electric grippers and surgical robots. The event broadens Portescap from motor supply into a more integrated motion-control kit.
