About Gemfan
Gemfan is a Ningbo-based manufacturer of propellers for multirotor and fixed-wing unmanned aircraft. Its range spans small FPV and cinematic formats, larger carbon-fibre propellers and application-specific designs for aerial photography, delivery, agriculture and industrial UAVs. The company combines propeller design, tooling and production with OEM and ODM work for aircraft and propulsion-system developers.
Gemfan parts are supplied within named commercial UAV configurations. Holybro lists Gemfan 1555 carbon-fibre propellers in its X650 development kit and 7040 propellers in the Kopis Cinematic X8 kit; Flywoo, HGLRC and GEPRC also specify Gemfan models in packaged aircraft builds. The company announced ISO 9001:2015 certification for plastic UAV-propeller production in 2026, adding a quality-management framework to its manufacturing operation.

- 2026-08-20 - Product Launch - Gemfan launches Cinelifter 1608F folding propeller series
The F1608-2 and F1608-3 use a 16-inch diameter and 8-inch pitch, with the two-blade version aimed at endurance and the three-blade version at higher instantaneous thrust. Gemfan positions the series for roughly 6–8 kg takeoff-weight platforms used in logistics, surveying, mapping, inspection and agricultural operations. Both versions use glass-fibre nylon blades, a folding design and metal or plastic hub options for transportability and field deployment.

The International Open ran from June 10 to 14 in Muncie, Indiana and drew more than 170 pilots. Gemfan supplied propellers as a returning MultiGP season sponsor, with the MJ5129.2 highlighted at the event. Gemfan-sponsored pilots occupied the World Cup top ten, linking the sponsorship to competitive use of the named propeller.
