About Hyundai Rotem
Hyundai Rotem develops unmanned ground vehicles from its experience in tracked and wheeled military systems. Its multi-purpose UGV uses cameras, LiDAR and navigation sensors for remote driving, autonomous route following and leader–follower operation. Modular payload areas support surveillance, logistics, casualty movement and remotely operated mission equipment.
A unit can command the vehicle directly or assign it to follow soldiers or another platform through rough terrain. The UGV is intended to move loads and sensors while reducing the number of personnel exposed to mine, reconnaissance and resupply missions. Hyundai Rotem integrates the chassis, autonomous-driving system, communications and military payload interfaces as a complete vehicle platform.
