About
About Neya Systems
Neya Systems’ N-Drive stack combines localisation, perception, path planning and vehicle control for ground platforms operating away from structured roads. Its modular interfaces allow autonomy functions to be integrated with different drive-by-wire systems, sensors and mission payloads rather than requiring a purpose-built vehicle.
Mission software coordinates routes, behaviours and multiple vehicles, while simulation environments support algorithm development and regression testing before field deployment. Neya also develops cybersecurity architectures for robotic systems, including segmented communications and Zero Trust controls for contested environments. The company works on integration programmes for defence and commercial customers and has operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Applied Research Associates since 2017.

Timeline
Events
- 2026-07-13 - Partnership - Neya and ARA join Global Mining Guidelines Group
Neya said the work includes functional safety for autonomous mining, zero-entry mining and safe mixed-fleet operations underground. The announcement notes active operations at an open-pit mine in Western Australia, giving the membership practical deployment context.
Source - 2026-06-04 - Demonstration - Neya and ARA showcase autonomous breaching system at XPONENTIAL
The showcase combined Neya's MPMS and N-Drive autonomy with partner UAS and UGV platforms for breaching lane clearance. Named collaborators included American Rheinmetall, AM General, Persistent Systems and Swarmbotics AI. This is classified as a demonstration/showcase, not an operational deployment.
Source - 2025-03-24 - Capability - Neya integrates MPMS mission planning with VISE simulation
The integration links mission planning and high-fidelity simulation so autonomous-system behavior can be tested before field work. Neya framed the work around complex off-road autonomy rather than a standalone software demo.
Source - 2025-02-25 - Product Launch - Neya Systems launches N-Drive off-road autonomy stack
N-Drive is vehicle-agnostic autonomy software for off-road commercial and military applications. Neya said the stack works with MPMS, ATAK and WMI while using simulation through VISE for validation. The launch is product-level autonomy infrastructure, not a deployment claim.
