About
About ISEE
ISEE develops autonomous yard-truck systems that move trailers within logistics facilities. Its software and vehicle engineering are designed for mixed-traffic yards, where trucks must coordinate with people, equipment and changing operating conditions. The company combines autonomous-driving technology with the practical requirements of industrial vehicles, allowing customers to introduce automation into existing yard operations. Its approach draws on research into how autonomous machines anticipate and respond to other actors.
ISEE reported a commercial yard-truck fleet deployment at a Texas distribution centre in February 2024. It works with vehicle and fleet partners to bring the system into customer operations. TICO integrates its autonomy with terminal tractors, while Holman combines autonomous yard-truck technology with leasing, upfitting and fleet lifecycle management in North America. The offering therefore includes the vehicle integration and operating support needed around the autonomy software, with deployments and commercial arrangements tied to the particular yard and customer.

Events
- 2026-10-02 - Partnership - ISEE and Holman partner to scale autonomous yard-truck commercialization
Customers can retrofit owned trucks, lease Holman vehicles or acquire autonomy-ready trucks through ISEE. The partners plan joint go-to-market work across existing and new vehicle fleets. Holman is already a strategic investor; no new funding amount, vehicle order or live-site deployment is disclosed.
Source - 2025-04-29 - Partnership - ISEE and TICO integrate autonomous yard trucks for commercial logistics
An integrated solution was already handling production moves at a Fortune 100 logistics hub. The companies planned diesel, CNG and electric configurations plus autonomy retrofits for existing TICO fleets.

The 1.7 million-square-foot facility has 750 trailer staging bays and supports operations across all shifts. Existing yard and warehouse management systems request material moves, which ISEE dispatches without additional site infrastructure.
Source - 2022-11-17 - Funding - ISEE raises $40M Series B for autonomous yard trucking
Capital supports growth, operations expansion and wider commercial reach. Target customers span e-commerce,retail,automotive manufacturing and third-party logistics. The company originated at MIT in2017 before focusing its autonomy on logistics-yard operations.
Source - 2019-11-11 - Funding - ISEE receives $15M Founders Fund-led Series A
The technology combines deep learning and cognitive AI to give vehicles common-sense understanding of driving situations. The founding research team originated in MIT professor Josh Tenenbaum’s laboratory. The deal is Founders Fund’s first investment in an autonomous-trucking/logistics startup.
