About
About YMX Logistics
YMX Logistics manages yard operations for enterprise shippers, including trailer spotting, shuttling, gate management and trailer pooling. Its YMX OS combines yard-management technology, fleet operations, performance management and data analysis across distribution and manufacturing sites. The company supplies operating staff, equipment and implementation support, with capacity-based pricing for its electric-yard offering.
A five-year, non-exclusive agreement with Outrider adds self-driving electric yard trucks to that service model. YMX will finance and operate the fleets, lead customer implementations and provide on-site support; Outrider supplies the autonomy system and ongoing remote monitoring and technical support. Initial deployments were planned for 2026 across food and beverage, retail, consumer goods and automotive customers. YMX has headquarters locations in Henderson, Nevada, and Kenosha, Wisconsin, and traces its yard-services history to 1982.

An embedded yard-management system can operate alongside an existing YMS or serve as the standalone system for a site. Self-service kiosks, computer vision, location sensors and mobile applications feed an operational twin that evaluates fleet size, staffing and traffic flow. The commercial model ties pricing to operating performance and system efficiency, replacing labour-, equipment- or hourly-based outsourcing terms.
