LaunchPoint Electric Propulsion Solutions
About
About LaunchPoint Electric Propulsion Solutions
LaunchPoint EPS designs ironless axial-flux motors and generators using dual Halbach-array rotors and compact stators. The machines cover roughly 1.5 to 250 kW and can operate as propulsion motors, alternators or starter-generators with air- or liquid-cooling options.
SmartPoint controllers, LaunchPower battery management and hybrid generator sets turn the electric machines into complete airborne power systems. LaunchPoint customises and manufactures these packages for uncrewed aircraft, combat aircraft, electronic-warfare pods and advanced-air-mobility programmes where weight, efficiency and fault tolerance are critical.
