About LeddarTech
LeddarTech developed LeddarVision, a hardware-agnostic low-level sensor-fusion and perception software platform that combined camera, radar and lidar data to build 3D environmental models for automotive and off-road ADAS. Its earlier sensing portfolio included the Leddar Pixell solid-state flash lidar for close-range vehicle safety and obstacle detection.
The company was founded in Quebec City in 2007 and later traded on Nasdaq as LDTC. It laid off most employees in May 2025, filed an assignment in bankruptcy in June, and said it did not expect to resume active operations. Its remaining physical assets were sold through the trustee in May 2026.
