About
About LightPath Technologies
LightPath Technologies designs and manufactures optical components, infrared assemblies and thermal-imaging systems for defence and industrial customers. Its portfolio ranges from precision lenses and proprietary Black Diamond chalcogenide glass to camera assemblies and complete imaging systems. The Orlando-based company combines optical design, glass production, fabrication, coatings and assembly within its manufacturing operations.
These products supply the sensing layer of larger systems used for surveillance, inspection, targeting and counter-drone applications. Combining materials, optics and imaging capabilities allows the company to support both individual components and integrated assemblies. It has disclosed repeat optical-assembly orders from an unnamed counter-UAS systems supplier, establishing a specific commercial input relationship without identifying the customer. Booked orders should remain separate from recognised revenue, and supplying optics to a defence system does not make LightPath the manufacturer of the whole platform.
