About MAB Robotics
MAB Robotics builds compact quadrupeds and the motion components used inside legged, wheeled, flying and swimming machines. Honey Badger 5.0 is its current field platform, designed to carry sensors and tools across uneven, confined and wet environments. The 12-kilogram robot supports payloads up to four kilograms, operates for up to two hours and can communicate through Wi-Fi, 5G or an optical-fibre tether.
An IP67 structure and MAB's actuators allow Honey Badger to work in dust, tunnels, sewers and shallow underwater settings. Payload configurations add visual cameras, lighting, 3D LiDAR and environmental sensors for inspection, mapping, leak detection, reconnaissance and infrastructure monitoring. MAB also sells MD-series brushless motor controllers, actuators and power-management electronics to other robot developers. The Poznań University of Technology spin-off has supplied components for hundreds of robots and has deployed its own platforms in heat tunnels and water and sewage networks.
